Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what clients ask before the first session. Authoritative text: our terms and privacy policy.

Booking & payment

How do I hold a date?

Use contact, phone or email. State the service, rough duration and two or three date options. We reply within 2 business days with a quote and proposal.

The slot is binding after written acceptance and a 30 % deposit under our terms.

Which payment methods work?

Bank transfer for deposit and balance; card at the studio by prior arrangement. Transfer details appear on quote and invoice. Business clients may receive 14 days net where credit checks allow it.

Are online prices final?

Tables on services and service pages show standard VAT-inclusive rates at 20 %. Your quote may differ when extra overdubs, edits or rush work is agreed — amounts are always written on the quote.

Can I book as a consumer or company?

Yes. Consumers usually pay on the day of service. Companies provide VAT ID and billing address; payment terms follow our terms. Billing questions: [email protected].

Minimum age to book alone?

Self-booking from age 16. Below that we need written guardian consent and an adult present throughout. Data handling: privacy policy.

On session day

When should I arrive?

Arrive about ten minutes early to load material and set headphone levels. Bands may come earlier when backline setup is heavy — note it on the quote.

What should I bring?

Instruments you trust, lyrics, stems or playback on SSD or cloud link. Vocals: water, avoid strong perfume in the booth. Prep guides: Vocal prep and Band setup.

Can guests sit in the control room?

One or two guests are fine if they do not disrupt work. Larger groups need a heads-up — the live room cap is 7 people.

What if we run over time?

Extensions only on your request and when the next booking allows it. Extra time bills in 30-minute steps at the relevant hourly rate from your quote.

How do breaks work?

Short breaks are normal; long breaks do not automatically reduce billed time while the studio remains blocked. Full-day sessions include a lunch break by arrangement.

Files & delivery

Which audio format do I get?

Default: 24-bit WAV at 48 kHz unless your project needs otherwise. Stem and podcast exports are agreed upfront. Stem checklist: Deliver stems for mix.

How are files delivered?

Download link or upload to your cloud after the session or when mix/master is finished. Large band projects can go on external SSD — bring a blank, formatted drive.

How long do you keep projects?

12 months on our systems, then scheduled deletion. Back up promptly. Earlier deletion can be agreed in writing — see privacy.

Can I take raw multitracks?

Yes. You receive working copies of agreed takes. Multitrack exports may be included or quoted as an add-on depending on the offer.

Can I upload before the session?

For mixing and mastering, send a link with stems or mixdown. Check levels and naming first — see the guide section. We contact you if anything is unclear before starting.

Rights & confidentiality

Who owns the recordings?

After full payment for the agreed service we grant the use of the recordings created for you as defined in our terms. Special cases are spelled out there.

May you publish reference clips?

Only with your explicit written approval. Default is confidentiality; portfolio use is asked separately on the quote.

Do you train AI on client audio?

No. Session material is not used to train generative models. Processing is limited to delivering the booked service — privacy policy.

What happens to form data?

Name, email and project notes are used to prepare quotes. Retention and legal bases are in privacy; cookies are explained in the cookie policy.

Do you advise on collecting societies?

You handle performance rights for your works. We do not give legal advice but can provide production notes for labels or publishers when agreed.

Mix, master & cancellation

How many revision rounds are included?

Mix and master include 2 rounds of written or annotated feedback. Further passes are quoted at the relevant rate — see mixing and mastering.
