Mixing
We shape your tracks into a coherent balance — with honest monitoring, careful dynamics and space that supports the song instead of masking it.

A mix decides whether kick and bass lock in, vocals stay intelligible and effects add depth rather than mud. At Nohexevo in Wien we work on singles, EPs and album projects — whether you tracked here or send exports from your own setup. Our control room is built for critical listening; workflow spans precise DAW editing and analogue summing where it helps.
Choose offline mixing from a written brief and references, or attended sessions in the room at €108 per hour. Both paths deliver a stereo mix you can check on speakers, headphones and everyday playback. Extra stem groups are billed at €92 per pack — see our guide how to deliver stems for mixing.
Workflow
Brief
You send tracks, tempo, key and two or three reference songs. We align on tone, loudness targets and deadline by email or phone — usually within 2 business days.
Import check
We verify filenames, start points, clipping and sample rate. Missing metadata or misaligned takes are flagged before we touch tone.
Mix and feedback
First mix goes out as a download or live in attended sessions. You collect notes; we implement up to 2 revision rounds under our terms and conditions.
Delivery
Final stereo WAV (24-bit, project rate), optional preview MP3. Sessions stay on our systems for 12 months, then deleted — please keep your own backup.
Who this service is for
Bedroom producers who want a second pair of ears, bands finishing after band recording or vocal sessions, and teams that need a reliable mix hand-off before mastering — all use this desk. We are not a substitute for fixing a bad tracking day; if noise or clipping dominates, we say so and suggest retakes or repair instead of overselling restoration.
Labels and post teams with fixed delivery specs are welcome when in-house capacity is tight. Minimum age for unattended file exchange follows our studio rules (16 years with parental consent where required).
Offline vs attended
Offline: You upload material; we mix from your brief. Suits artists outside central Vienna or those who work late. €245 per finished stereo track covers a typical multi-stem pop or rock song; very large sessions (orchestral samples plus live drums, many versions) are quoted first.
Attended: You sit in the control room, listen on our monitors and steer in real time. Billed at €108; a half-day often enough to refine an offline draft. Many clients combine both: offline first pass, attended polish.
Prepare your files
Export from bar zero, avoid heavy limiting on individual tracks, use clear names like 01_Kick.wav. Include a rough mix and short notes on trouble spots. Our stem guide shows bus layouts we like.
- WAV or AIFF, 24-bit preferred, 44.1 or 48 kHz
- Avoid duplicate channels with different prints — document sends instead
- Instrumental stems separate from vocals if swaps are likely
- References with the loudness feel you want, not just genre
Call 01 405 82 16 or email [email protected] if you need export help from Logic, Ableton, Pro Tools or Reaper.
Inside the control room
Attended work starts with a level check on our monitors and your headphones if you bring them. We balance drums, bass and harmony, use EQ and compression with intent and leave headroom for mastering. Vocals sit in the arrangement; de-essing and automation are tools, not gimmicks.
The room looks into the 38 m² live room when we need one more live element. Hours: Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–22:00; closed Monday and Sunday. Evening sessions by appointment.. Getting here: U3 underground station Neubaugasse (about 4 minutes on foot). Tram line 49 stop Neubaugasse. From Westbahnhof take U3 towards Simmering to Neubaugasse..

Revisions and feedback
Each track includes 2 revision rounds: bundle audible notes (e.g. “quieter guitar in bridge”, “more air on hats”) and we return an updated mix. Extra rounds are available by agreement and billed separately.
Please send consolidated feedback rather than a drip of messages across days — it keeps turnaround predictable. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
Formats and mastering hand-off
Default delivery: interleaved WAV, 24-bit, native project sample rate, peaks below −1 dBFS for headroom. Stem buses (drums, bass, music, FX, vocals) available as a separate pack at the stem rate. MP3 only for quick approval, not as a master source.
For mastering, send the approved mix without a slammed master bus. Loudness targets for streaming are handled there, keeping the chain clean.
Not included
Not covered: full song editing from scratch, tuning every vocal, bespoke sound design, forensic recovery of broken drives, re-amping in the live room, or music clearance. Pre-mix editing can be booked hourly via our services overview.
We mix only material you have rights to use. Upload privacy: privacy policy.

FAQ
How many tracks can one song have?
€245 covers typical pop, rock and hip-hop sessions with dozens of tracks. Orchestral material, many vocal stacks or multiple versions (clean/explicit) need a quote via contact.
Can I book attended time only?
Yes. Many clients bring a self-mixed draft and use €108 for shared refinement. Bring the rough mix and session notes so we use time well.
How fast is the first mix?
Offline: often five to ten business days after complete files, depending on load. Rush projects by arrangement — include date and references in your message. Attended slots run Tue–Sat 10–22 (see contact for booking).
Do you mix sessions tracked elsewhere?
Yes, with clean exports. Tracks from other Vienna studios or home setups are fine; we adapt EQ and space but cannot replace poor mic placement after the fact.
What after the two revision rounds?
Further rounds or a full remix are billed by effort — often €245 again or hourly. We confirm in writing before extra work starts.
